Data Deletion Instructions

If your business uses our service

1. Revoke our access in Meta. In your Meta Business settings, remove Appspark9 from the apps and partners with access to your WhatsApp Business Account. Once access is revoked, the token we hold stops working and we can no longer send messages from your account.
2. Ask us to delete your data. Email info@appspark9.com from an address associated with your business, with your business name and the phone number connected to our service.

Within 30 days we delete your stored access token, your account and phone number identifiers, your API key, and all delivery records for your account, and we confirm by email when it is done.

We cannot delete messages already delivered to people's phones. Meta keeps its own records of messages sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform under Meta's policies.

If you received a verification code

A verification code you received over WhatsApp was sent on behalf of the business named in the message, and that business holds your account with them. To delete your account or stop receiving codes, contact that business first. You can also block the business in WhatsApp.

Appspark9 keeps very little about you: never the code, and never your phone number in readable form. We keep only a one-way hash of your number with the delivery status of each message, and we delete these records automatically after 30 days.

If you want them deleted sooner, email info@appspark9.com with your phone number. We will use it only to find and delete matching records, then delete your email, and confirm within 30 days.

Facebook login

Businesses connect their WhatsApp account to our service by logging in with Facebook. We do not keep any information from your Facebook profile. We keep only the WhatsApp account access described above, and deleting it follows the steps for businesses.
